turtle talks on fear

Walking thoughts thanks to a turtle. 🐒

I am not afraid of people. I am afraid of the weaknesses and insecurities they possess and how they project these on to me.

Those that react hashly to me are not actually reacting to Me, but rather, they are reacting to their inner insecurities, weaknesses, and contradictions. My Being just so happens to be a temporary mirror in front of them that they wish not to see or comprehend. They refuse empathy and instead lash out, react, fight, and verbally take flight in order to create distance between me and their inner insecurities. We’ve deemed some of this reactive behavior as confidence and/or authenticity. It’s just masked insecurity.

This is what the turtle on my walk taught me, promise! 🐒

Thank you for the ah-ha, turtle and for the conversations, Amy Small. Grateful.
