your charge of neurons (thinking of you)

eighty-six billion neurons,
pathways from years of life,
clusters of experiences,
stored organic data,
good, bad, difficult, and pleasurable memories.
when my mind quiets,
neurons flash and combine,
they run away as uncatchable thoughts,
they intertwine with the rise of my pulse,
they find flow with the rhythm of my breathing.
your cluster of neurons is an orchestration of joy,
experienced at random occasions,
experienced through deliberate invitations.
your dance of neurons takes me on adventures,
some of which we’ve explored,
with others built in a fantasy workshop.
your charge of neurons grows my heart,
strengthens my connection to you,
challenges my curiosities,
all while erasing time and expanding potential.
your paradise of neurons transports my soul,
to a place of where love lives,
to a village where judgement is banned,
to a home where I belong with thoughts of you,
to a room where we can be free.
